Configuration error when only allow admin to deploy feature is on for pipeline

Eric Kung

The pipeline shows configuration error when I turned on only allow admins to deploy to this environment, however when I turned it off, everything works properly, does anyone has the same issue? Also this only appears in some of my repositories, which we have all the same settings.

Hi Eric,

Were the affected repos perhaps transferred to the current workspace from a different workspace?

Due to a bug, deployments sometimes don't run after repository transfer:

If these are indeed transferred repositories, the workaround is to delete the affected deployment environments and then recreate them along with their variables and other settings.

A deployment environment can be deleted from Repository settings > Deployments > expand the affected deployment environment > select the 3 dots at the top right corner of the environment details > select Remove environment.

If the affected repositories are not transferred repos or if the workaround doesn't work, you can create a ticket with the support team and share the URL of one of the affected builds for further investigation.

You can create a ticket via https://support.atlassian.com/contact/#/, in "What can we help you with?" select "Technical issues and bugs" and then Bitbucket Cloud as product. When you are asked to provide the workspace URL, please make sure you enter the URL of the workspace that is on a paid billing plan to proceed with ticket creation.

A support ticket you create can be accessed only by you, Atlassian staff, and any other users you may add as participants, so anything you post there won't be publicly visible.

Kind regards,
Theodora
