Can't use work email to access client's repos

I have been asked to place code in a client's "workspace" on Bitbucket. I have never used BitBucket in any context. So I have tried to create an account with my work email address.

No matter what I do, the site assumes I want to log in with my personal Google account (I even logged out). I do not want this. I've been going round and round in circles with this for an hour. All I want to do is create an account so I can access my client's workspace, using my work email and completely unconnected to my personal information. How is this achieved?

I'm not even sure any of this is actually necessary - I received an email from Atlassian in my work email account: an invitation to join my client's group or whatever. But the email was very badly messed up and didn't seem to contain any useful links. There were certainly no links to anything related to my client.

Please advise.
