Dear Atlassian Support Team,

I am reaching out to report an issue I've been facing while attempting to update the latest content from remote Git repositories using either the pull or fetch in SourceTree. Every time I execute, a login prompt appears, where I input my usual credentials that I use for accessing Confluence and Bitbucket. Despite entering the correct login information, I am unable to proceed past this authentication step.

To address this issue, I've tried selecting the 'Can't log in?' option at the login prompt to reset my password. However, even after successfully changing my password, I continue to face the same issue with no change in the situation.

I am uncertain about which specific account details I should be using in this scenario or if there are additional configurations required for Bitbucket or other Atlassian products. I kindly request your guidance on how to resolve this login failure.

I am eagerly awaiting your assistance to resolve this issue. Your prompt response would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

G'day, @K_C

Did you try using App password for the authentication credentials? We no longer support username:password for authentication with git.

You can also check our guide below on how to configure Sourcetree with an App Password

https://support.atlassian.com/bitbucket-cloud/docs/add-an-app-password-to-sourcetree-or-another-application/

Hope this helps.

Regards,
Syahrul
