Can I specify regex in the branching model?

I am trying to configure branch naming to conform to rel/1.2_<text>.  I tried using

rel/[0-9]+\.[0-9]+_

But the branch push of rel/1.2_test gets rejected by bit bucket server. Does the branching model support regular expression?

Hi Deepak!  We don't allow the use of regex to set up the branching name structure but there are third party plugins such as Script Runner and YACC that can be used to restrict and or enforce branch names via regex. We have a Feature request you might be interested in, you can find it at BSERV-4208.
