Can Data Center licenses used on Server

Since Bitbucket server tier upgrade not possible and we need more user licenses, can we use Data centre licenses on Server.

Hi @Manjushree Zope ,

you can! I tried in the past and it worked. Please, test this change in a UAT env first or copy current server license in order to have the chance to rollback to previous license.

Btw, my suggestion is to move your configuration from server to datacenter. You can have a datacenter instance with just one node active (like a server instance).

Remember that you will need to get DC licences for Apps too - they will stop working if you swap to a DC licence for Bitbucket   (In most cases, it will just be a DC licence for the app, but there are a couple where the install is different for Server and DC, and you may need to install a DC-specific version of the app)
