Is Bitbucket smart mirroring reliable for cross continent accessibility ?

we have created bitbucket datacenter in USA and have installed smart mirror in Europe for faster push and pull of data from git repo.

Are there any more concepts that can help or is this the best possible solution for GIT auto sync or mirroring?

Short answer is "yes".  It is reliable, it does scale (and as you've said you have BB datacentre, you've got full support for the largest of systems).

However, while I am an Atlassian fanboy and would love to be able to tell you that BB is the best possible solution, I can't.  I do not know the competition well enough to make that judgement.  BB is a good choice, and it will do what you need.  There is no question of that, but "best" might not be accurate for your usage.
