Bitbucket open source licensing

Has Atlassian stopped supporting open source projects on BitBucket? I applied for open source license and was told it is no longer available.

Hello @andytomlin ,

Thank you for reaching out to Atlassian Community!

You can submit a request for an open-source license by submitting the form available on the following page :

I've also noticed that you have opened an internal ticket with us related to a new workspace to which you have moved your repositories. That workspace is currently in the Community plan which is equivalent to the Open Source license.

Let me know in case you have any questions.

Thank you, @andytomlin !

Patrick,

Thanks for your answer. My situation recently got resolved satisfactorily. However please be aware, I did submit a request using the above form - 2x. The first time it was closed as 'Atlassian does not support open source license for bitbucket', the second time it was almost closed in the same manner except I was able to prove that I previously had one. There seems to be a disconnect inside Atlassian whether you can get a bitbucket license for open source project. The website, and history seems to suggest you can. However when you fill the form in it does not seem to work unless you are very persistent.

Cheers Andy
