Bitbucket access working from home using VPN

I am working from home using a VPN to connect to the Jira / Bitbucket server for which I access Bitbucket through Jira. When in Jira, I click on the Bitbucket link, a time out message page is displayed.  If I use Horizon VDI I am able to access Bitbucket. from Jira. 

When I am in the office then I can access Bitbucket through Jira with no issues.

Can anyone tell me if there is a timeout setting in Bitbucket server for access through the VPN connection ?

I'm experiencing the same issue. How did you resolve this?
