BitBucket Server: Do I need to install GIT server first before installing BitBucket?

Hi all,

I am planning to install Bitbucket on my server. I am not clear of what is required.

Do I fist install a Git Server and the the Bitbucket or BitBucker includes the server as well?

Hi John,

Bitbucket Server requires Git to be already installed on your server. This is mentioned in further details at the Getting Started document.
