Why does a Slack Pipe require a webhook URL?

If I have configured Slack integration for my repo, so that I'm getting notifications relating to pipelines, why do I need to configure a new webhook URL when using a Slack Pipe in my pipeline?

If I want notifications to go to the same channel, it would be easier to just say use the webhook already configured as part of the Slack integration. Then I don't have to create my own Slack app to get one.

It would also be nice to highlight on the Slack Pipe description that you can use the built-in Slack integration to get some notifications, and the Pipe is only needed if you want your own custom notifications.
