tfs poll timeouts

Kostas Kritikos
November 17, 2016

Hello

Our bamboo installation recently started getting multiple "Unable to detect changes"  erorrs (com.atlassian.bamboo.repository.RepositoryException : java.net.SocketTimeoutException: connect timed out) when trying to poll TFS for changes.

Could you please help me investigate the underlying cause

Thanks

Kostas

Hi Kostas,

Probably the TFS URL is misspelled. Also note that Bamboo polls TFS periodically and if for example TFS reboots at night there will be such errors in the log because at the specific time TFS was not reachable.

Cheers,
Sergey Podobry

Hi Sergey,

This is not the case here.

Any other ideas?

Regards,

Theo
