gitversion throws errors when running a build in a container

When you run the gitversion dotnet tool it throws nullpointer errors

created this question to help ppl running into the same problem, the answer:

you can disable caching, a better solution is however to also mount the caching folder in your docker instance:

still got issues when running this on a linux host, turns out the container distro needs to be alpine or ubuntu:18.04
