Windows AMI with MVC /web targets?

Chris S. August 28, 2012

Is there an Atlassian AMI already setup with MVC 3 installed (via the web installer) and the web targets file used for the project file type?

I'd rather re-use an Atlassian AMI than create my own if I could.

There's no Atlassian ami for that, you can run the stock one from Bamboo and install MVC 3 on it. Then, run c:\opt\bamboo-elastic-agent\bin\prepareInstanceForSaving.bat and create a new image.

Are there any plans to integrate MVC3/4 in, or .NET 4.5?

I don't think so, but plans change - make sure you raise an improvement request @ https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/BAM

There's no bin folder in the AMI instances I've cloned, do I need to download it from somewhere?
