What is the best practice for undeploying software using Bamboo?

Edited

I have a build pipeline that uses a deployment project to deploy my app using Ansible.

If I pass a certain command line argument to my Ansible playbook, it can undeploy, rather than deploy, my app.

In Bamboo, should I create two deployment projects for this purpose? One for deploying the app and one for undeploying it? Or does Bamboo provide facilities to simplify undeploying apps?

Hi Behrang,

Yes, two deployment projects would be the best way to un-deploy your app given your configuration. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns.

Regards,

Bill
