Hello, I think I have the same problem as the user in this post.
In a nutshell I am not able to use a VSTS repo as a linked repo from Bamboo.
I followed the instructions found here to create a login.
My repo is Git, not TFS. The url I am using is the one generated by the VSTS Clone button. I am able to clone my VSTS repo using Visual Studio with no problem. However when I try to connect with the Bamboo "Test Connection" button I get this error message: We couldn't connect to the repository. Access is denied.
Where can I look to resolve this problem?
Thank you.

BTW, Bamboo 6.8.0 will cover more use cases?
