The feature Customised run that accepts Revision parameter as 'Use a specific revision of the default repository in this build', is it fair to assume the value to be any revision on the branch configured in the repository?
I've tried pass in the actual SHA1 ID, tag, as well as another branch name, and never have any luck even i've ticked off the Shallow clone flag which the log always displays this:
fatal: reference is not a tree: <revision>
Checkout to revision <revision> has failed.
I fact, what I am after is the flexibility to run a build at any branch or tag in the git repository without it to be pre-defined in the build config. Is there any way to archive this?
