Bamboo 6.5 didn't ship with Linux BASH Startup script. We need this script to begin using Bamboo. Must have been oversight. Only Windows Batch files are provided and aren't helpful

Which scripts are you referring to? Which file did you download? I just checked the .tar.gz file, and that contains the expected scripts.

Just to add to what Christian has said, if you downloaded the ZIP Archive, that is indeed Windows only, and contains only the batch (.bat) scripts.
For Linux installations, please download the TAR.GZ Archive. This contains only the .sh scripts.
