Hi Atlassian Gurus!
Per our previous question re elastic bamboo AWS security groups
We seek to understand where you can edit the default deployment config for the 'elasticbamboo' security group so it STOPS adding an allow TCP22(SSH) 0.0.0.0/0 to the security group rules, and rather applies the list of our known hosts instead.
Can you advise at which point this 'security group gets created'? is it the first time you deploy to the VPC, or during every redeployment or at another stage?
We simply want to ensure our changes to this security group (to 'lock it down') do not get reverted.
Many thanks,
We are glad to see you here!
The group is created when you use the elastic agents for the first time. It will remain there after that. You cannot change the default configuration, but once it is created you can adjust it and Bamboo will not reset your adjustments.
I hope that answers your questions.
