How to integrate Bamboo with Enterprise GitHub?

We're evaluating Bamboo for our CD pipelines. We use GitHub Enterprise, and we branch each release. I know that Bamboo works with, but how do I set it up to work with Enterprise GitHub (same thing, but locally hosted)? Also, how do triggers work? And are branch builds correctly triggered?

I've got this all working for manually configured branches. We just created a shared credential and all is well. I just now configured automatic branches, and I haven't seen one get detected yet.

I know that bamboo do not officially support github enterprise. Is there a work around, if so what is it?
