How to configure branch plans with Bitbucket Cloud repository

I have yaml bamboo specs in Bitbucket Cloud repository and it does not seem to pick up changes to specs in different branches than master and there is no option to pick a branch.

To compare this with a yaml bamboo specs that are kept in Bitbucket DataCenter repository, there is an option to pick branch in Specs status and branch plans correctly pick up specs changes in all branches:

What am I missing here?

Full support for Bitbucket Cloud repositories has been added on Bamboo 9.0. What version of Bamboo are you running?

Make sure that the repository type is set as "Bitbucket Cloud" and not only "Git".

Here's my Bamboo 9.3 instance with support for branches:
