How to access Bamboo agent system properties ?

In Bamboo, an agent has its properties listed on the System Properties tab. How can that information

be accessed in a plan ? I can get ${system.os.name}, but what about getting the host name, which is one of the

properties listed on that page ? How would I get that ?

Hello Mehul,

In Linux/Mac systems, echoing $HOSTNAME in the Terminal will tell you the computer name.

In Windows systems, echoing %computername% in the Command Prompt will tell you the computer name.

Basically, every system variable that can be echoed in Terminal or Command Prompt can be retrieved in Bamboo.

So, in Bamboo, it would be just a matter of using ${system.HOSTNAME} or ${system.computername}.

Kind regards,
