Error in accessing local GIT repository through Bamboo

I am configuring a plan in Bamboo. Here, I am using GIT as repository host. I have a local GIT repository on which I am working on. But when I give all my configurations and try to test the connect, I am getting the following error "We couldn't connect to the repository. The details you provided were invalid." kindly tell me how to resolve it.
