Build plan branches do not send emails notification

I created a plan and enable branch feature. It appears that when the branch is done building or if the plan fails, it does not send email notifications. I was under the assumption the branch inherits the parents configurations. Am I missing something?

Atlassian was able to replicate the problem. You can vote on the issue here https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/BAM-11827 to have it fixed soon.

We are getting the same issue. We're having to switch to creating separate plans for each branch.
