We are using Bamboo 6.4.0. We have Bamboo Deployment Plan which has multiple environments , say QA-ENV1 , QA-ENV2 . Each Environment has multiple tasks as show below :
QA-ENV1 > TaskQA1 > TaskQA1
QA-ENV2 > TaskQA2> TaskQA2
Here is what I am trying to do . I want to deploy to QA-ENV1 and QA-ENV2 Environments parallelly . And within each Environment I want to run the tasks parallelly.
Can someone suggest how to achieve this.
If you have available agents, your artifacts will be deployed to all environments in parallel (it will use a separate agent for each environment).
One thing I'm afraid that will not be possible right now is to run tasks in parallel, it would be achievable if we had something similar to Jobs (currently available only on build plans) also available on deployment plans.
We do have an open improvement request asking for something very similar:
I encourage you to vote on and watch the Improvement Request to increase its visibility and ensure you're kept in the loop with any future updates.
