Trying to use a global automation rule to trigger an email update for tickets that have been "Created" without an update in more then 48 hours.  I have tried using multiple triggers on the created front, but then every ticket being created sends me an email, every time its been created.  Tried to use "update" for trigger, but that one does not seem to offer any triggering since, the ticket is not being updated for 2d+?

Any suggestions for global automation rules in JIRA?

Hi @Jeff Wieland,

Welcome to Atlassian Community!

Under the Automation Templates tab there is one that resolves the request due to inactivity that you can use as a starting point

The automation is triggered on a daily basis and uses a JQL query to get issues that have not been updated in the past 5 days or more.
