As discussed in detail in this article https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Marketplace-Apps-Integrations/Jira-Automation-Slack-Override/qaq-p/1425945 , there is the new Slack App Webhook and there is a Legacy App Webhook and Slack has stopped the support for Legacy incoming Webhook.
We really are in need of the channel override facility that is available in the "Send Slack Message" action available in Automation for Jira so we can configure Global rules and onboard multiple projects into the rule using one single webhook link.
Is there any way we can achieve this requirement ?

Hi @Venkatesh Prasad , welcome to the Community!
At the moment, Automation still requires the Legacy webhook app for channel overrides. I understand in some cases, Slack workspace admins are disabling the legacy webhook app.
It's possible to put the webhook URL in from a custom App, but the channel override box in the Send Slack Message action will not work correctly with that webhook URL. It will only send a message to the channel the webhook was created for.
You can create multiple webhooks in the Slack app and use those webhooks in different Send Slack Message actions, but you would not be able to use a single webhook and use smart values to set the channel/user property for the channel override.
Updating the Send Slack Message action with the custom Slack App surface is listed as a suggestion on our public Jira instance: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/AUTO-203 - please vote on and watch that issue for updates on progress.
Thanks,
Daniel | Atlassian Team
