Populate the Done Date field with the Release Date of an assigned fix version

I've been trying to set up an automation rule that populates the Done Date field with the release date of the fix version once it is assigned to a ticket.

I can't seem to get it to work- can someone advise how to set up this automation?

Hi @ahiggins

Would you please post an image of your rule?  That may give the community some context to help.  Thanks!

For the attributes of a version, please look here to learn what is available:

https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/smart-values-general/#Smartvaluesgeneral---issue.fixVersions--

And note that fixVersion is a list field, so if you have more than one value in it that will need to be handled also.

Kind regards,
Bill

I actually kept googling and stumbled upon this thread- I believe my query is working now & this answered my question!

Appreciate the reply nonetheless!
