Is it possible to delegate rule editing to project admins in automation for jira lite?

Based on the documentation I've found the answer SHOULD be yes, but the documentation has fallen prey to the documentation system Atlassian is using for all of their products, which essentially 404s on 99.99999999% of every search I perform, even when looking for simple, one word terms like 'user'.

Case in point - looking for the word 'manage' in Automation for Jira Server (https://confluence.atlassian.com/automation) gets me 'No search results found'and a cloud-based URL (https://confluence.atlassian.com/search/?query=manage&productName=Atlassian+Support&productVersion=Cloud)

Anyway, after digging I found this page: https://confluence.atlassian.com/automation/permissions-for-project-automation-993924702.html

Still, when I go to global configuration I have NONE of these options in Lite.

Hi @Rob Horan ,

If what you are looking for is for "project managers" to be able to create/edit rules then it's integrated into the system, the "global configuration is only to limit the user access (and it's not available on lite version).

The way project managers change their rules is not through the "automation rules" section on the admin but on every project when you go to "Project settings" you'll find a "project automation" section where project managers can do whatever they want on their own project.

I hope it helps.

It does help but its also saddening, LOL

Was hoping to make use of this plugin without having to ask for 17K
