Import Automation Rule without being Global Admin

I know that it is possible to copy or import rules as a global admin.
I am just a project admin but on multiple projects. As a result I have the ability to copy rules within each of those projects but I need to get a global admin to copy between projects.
I can export a rule but there seems to be no way to import it unless I am a global admin.

Am I just missing something here?

Thanks

Rob

Hi @Rob Wolfe

Here is the suggestion to add that feature, and one other to improve rule import:

Best regards,

@Rob Wolfe Unfortunately it isn't possible to import rules on a project-level, like you say the only thing similar you can do is to copy rules from one project to another.

I guess this restriction is in place just in case a project admin doesn't know what they're doing and accidentally floods their project with many automation rules in a single import, which can have an impact on the overall instance of Jira if there are too many.
