Hello,
I am new to this so forgive me if I am asking a simple question. I have created a form on a wiki page that automatically opens a task in jira. My next step is to find a way to create an email that would go to my teams inbox so that we can see the new task. My jira task is on a kanban board that my team uses,
Thank you,

Hi @Traci_Burke and welcome to the Community!
Before you start to put too much focus on bombarding people with emails, I would recommend you to consider thoroughly if you really want that ...
If you are bringing your team's work into Jira and onto a board, the created issues will automatically appear there once they are created. And if you get your team to work actively in the tool and in your board, they will see the issues appear and you're likely to get them into the tool rather than depending on mails. Which is - probably - a better way of collaborating.
Having said that, Jira does allow you to send emails. If your project is company managed, your project has a notification scheme that you (technically speaking in this case: a Jira Administrator) can configure to send emails when a certain event occurs (in your use case: issue created). Team managed projects have a similar system. In both cases, you will find the configuration in Project settings > Notifications. Add the desired users or project roles to the events you want to send notifications for.
Hope this helps!
Hi Walter,
Thank you for responding. My coworker was able to help me out with this one.
Have a great weekend!
