We want to automatically create a ticket in Jira, based on particular Emoji response to a Slack message. For example a Bug emoji response to a Slack message should create a Bug ticket in Jira.
Hello @Pradeep Nene , Check out Workflow Steps for Jira, our app supports this use case. Have a look at the Respond to a Bug Report template to see if it will meet your needs.

Hi @Pradeep Nene ,
This sounds like a great case for Halp/Atlassian Assistant. I highly recommend it!

@Carlos Garcia Navarro thank you for a quick response. What I am trying to achieve here is to create bug cards/tickets within existing Jira boards based on specific emoji response to a Slack message. Halp seems to create a ticket in it's own repository.

Hi @Pradeep Nene ,
Halp has its own repository but it also integrates with Jira. I use it every day :-)

It's very easy to set up and the licenses are reasonably priced in my opinion. It integrates with a knowledge base that can automate sending responses to common questions. You can also create workflows in Slack (e.g. to send messages to triage channels), and when creating comments the functionality is bi-directional (replicated in Slack and Jira). You can add forms in Slack with fields that match to Jira fields. And SLAs, and more!

@Carlos Garcia Navarro thank you, but we would not want to invest buying licenses for another workflow/automation tool. We are exploring ways if this can be accomplished with the Slack-Jira integration which is already in place.
