How can we avoid stories or bugs to be done when sub tasks are not closed, cancelled or done

How can we avoid stories or bugs to be done when sub tasks are not closed, cancelled or done?(Using Automation for Jira PLugin)

Can any one explain me the step by step procedure to do this?

Am really new to this automation. It will be helpful for me if you do this.

Thanks in advance.

Hi. You can use a Condition in your workflow. No Automation required. This is a good HOWTO with pictures (it's for Jira Server, but the steps are the same):

https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/how-to-prevent-issues-from-being-closed-while-the-sub-tasks-are-still-open-in-jira-724928276.html

And here's the official documentation for that Condition in Cloud:
