Disable desktop app notifications for issue update

Hey,

I'm using Jira automation for auto update some fields, I disable the email notifications but the users still get the notifications in the Mac desktop app for every change (and there are a lot of changes). Anyone know how to disable this? They don't get emails since the checkbox isn't marked but do get notifications in the desktop app.

Please take a look at this post describing updating the Notification Policy to address this:

There is also a suggestion to add this feature, rather than change the Notification Policy.  You may watch/vote for that one here:
