Hey all, i would like to know what can i do in this situation
I asked IT to create a user and set him as admin so he can use a Token.
the thing is that is its only mail and not a real user, how can i accept the invite for Jira use, so i can enter as org admin to this user and create a token.
Or if anyone have other idea i can use in this case?
Thanks!
If it's a real mail account, can your admin set up mail forwarding to forward that new account to your account? This way, you'll receive the invite email and then be able to move forward with token creation. Once it's all set up you can disable the mail forwarding.
Note that Organization Admins cannot create an API token on behalf of another user.
You must login as the user itself to make an API token for a user.
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
