I added automation rule to transition epic automatically from input to in analysis when any of story status is changed by the user. However when it runs it doesn’t change the status of the epic. i checked the audit logs. it says NO ACTIONS PERFORMED and does not show any error. Am i missing something here?

Would you please post images of your updated rule and the audit log details from the rule execution? Those may provide more context for what is happening. Thanks!
Kind regards,
Bill

Hi @Bill Sheboy I figured it out with some other threads on the community. It seems workflow has to have the status to which I want it to be transitioned into. e.g from input / open -> done to do it automatically when the rule works.
Below is the screenshot of the rule. In logs it says error but it has worked for me. My statuses are changing Automatically.

That is correct: the workflow needs the relevant status values. That error also indicates an attempt to set Resolution, which could be related.
Have you updated the workflow and re-tested?
