Migration Hub Template: Jira Service Management 🎁

Don’t let your important migration details get lost. Use this template to keep everyone in the loop as you move to Jira Service Management Cloud (and save yourself time* in the process!).

*Want to save even more time? We made you a few migration outreach templates so you can link to your new hub in every outreach.

Take a few minutes to customize the Migration Hub template for yourself.

The template

This template is designed to help with your Jira Service Management cloud migration. Migrating other Atlassian products? Check out these templates:

We recommend creating your hub wherever your teams typically look for internal information.

  • If that's Confluence – great! Follow the instructions below.
  • If not, no biggie. Adapt the instructions below to fit whatever platform you use to deliver information to your users.
  1. Create a new Confluence page in your Server/Data Center instance.
  2. Give your new page a snazzy title. Here are some ideas:
    • Cloud Migration Hub: Jira Service Management
    • Jira Service Management Cloud Migration Hub
  3. Copy + paste the template below into your new page.
    • If needed, change the table settings from Fixed Width to Responsive.
  4. Remove any irrelevant sections.
  5. Replace all italicized/bolded text with your own details.
  6. Publish your page. Be sure the right teams have access to view it!
  7. Share your new Jira Service Management Migration Hub with your teams.
  8. Link all future internal outreaches to your hub.
  9. Sit back and appreciate all the repeat questions you just saved yourself.
