My client is migrating a small Jira Application from a Windows Desktop to a Linux server.
When switching to Linux, will Jira users notice a difference? I presume the application behavior to a user is the same, but there may be differences.
Any other thoughts or lessons learned would be appreciated.
Thank you
Hi @Tom_Bubb ,
as Jira is a java application, it can run on many different systems (Linux, Windows, MacOS ...) and still provide the exact same experience.
So you don't need to worry, users won't notice anything different when you migrate to another server !
Let me know if this helps,
