Say hello to new Atlassian Intelligence features in Confluence!

👋 Hello Confluence Community!

In recent quarters, we've rolled out numerous AI features in Confluence to boost your team's collaboration and productivity. Last week at Team Europe, we revealed several upcoming features. If you missed it, you can catch up with the on-demand library here.

Read on to learn about the new Confluence AI features coming your way, and share which ones you're most excited about in the comments! 

AI in Whiteboards

Confluence whiteboards are a powerful brainstorming tool. We're thrilled to introduce enhanced Confluence Whiteboards powered by Atlassian Intelligence, designed to elevate your brainstorming sessions and boost productivity and efficiency.

• Generate Stickies (Coming Soon):

 

Oftentimes, getting started is the hardest part of a brainstorming session. Now, you can start with a single idea, and have Atlassian Intelligence generate similar ideas based on the first. In addition, you can also have AI provide recommendations based on relevant data from Confluence, Jira, and JSM.

• Clustering Stickies (Coming Soon):

Once your team's ideas are on the whiteboard, Atlassian Intelligence can group similar ideas together, freeing you from manually categorizing them and allowing you to focus on essential tasks.

• Summarize Whiteboards (Coming Soon):

Instead of appointing a facilitator to summarize ideas, use Atlassian Intelligence for a prompt, clear, and concise summary of your whiteboard. You can also convert this summary into a Confluence page to kickstart your project.

AI Work Creation

By combining Atlassian Intelligence with seamless integration between Confluence and Jira, you no longer have to worry about tab-switching and create Jira tasks directly from your Confluence page.

• Confluence to Jira:

  • Single Create (Available Now): Highlight text on your Confluence page and let AI create a new Jira task based on your selection.

• Bulk Create (Coming Soon): Later this year, Atlassian Intelligence will scan your entire Confluence page to create multiple Jira tasks, automating task creation.

• Summarize Changes: Curious about the latest updates on a page? This feature provides a summary of all changes since your last visit. Learn more in our previous community post here.

• Summarize Comments: Short on time to read all comments? Use Atlassian Intelligence to quickly review, summarize, and analyze sentiments in both inline and page-level comments to determine your next steps.
