Hi, We have 10 user started license jira software hosted in our self server. Now thinking of migrating to jira cloud as our current jira server is very slow . I noticed 2GB storage .

How do I evaluate if 2GB is enough for our site or not? We have two project in our current jira.

How many issue ticket can 2GB storage hold?

Hi @Basker Ganesan

The 2GB storage is for the attachments that are uploaded in your issues.

So it will mainly depend on the amount and size of the attachments

@Dave Bosman _Realdolmen_ so there is no restriction in the number of tickets we create in cloud free tier?

Not for as far as know.

And besides that, text does not use a lot of data.

f.e. a simple text file with 1 million lines will probably take between 30 and 100 MB or something so it is really negligable.

Thanks @Dave Bosman _Realdolmen_

I just checked attachment folder in our current jira server.

C:\Program Files\Atlassian\Application Data\Jira\data

The whole data folder is only 18 MB. I looking right place for the attachments right?

So your current server is a windows server

I'm used to working with linux but i think you are correct.

The attachments folder should be

<JIRA_HOME>/data/attachments/
