Hi Community,
In October, we shared an update on new automated app migration capabilities coming to the Confluence Cloud Migration Assistant and Jira Cloud Migration Assistant.
These assistants are server and Data Center apps that provide a clear, easy-to-use UI and capabilities for migrating Confluence space and Jira project data to cloud. We’re working with Marketplace Partners who are building automated app migration paths that will make it possible to also migrate apps to cloud from within the cloud migration assistants.
We’re looking for customers to join our early access program to test and provide feedback on new automated app migration capabilities within the Jira and Confluence Cloud Migration Assistants.

How do I sign up?
Who’s eligible to participate?
What are the benefits of participating?
What’s required of participants?
When will the early access program start?
Please complete this survey and we’ll send you a MOVE ticket (Atlassian support ticket on getsupport.atlassian.com), which we’ll use to communicate updates and instructions on how to activate the app migration capabilities via a feature flag.
If you sign up but something changes and you can no longer participate, you can leave the program at any time.
You’re currently migrating or planning to migrate Jira and/or Confluence from server to cloud.
You’ll be migrating apps and app data to cloud. (We’ll double check on our side that at least one of the apps you’re migrating will have an automated migration path as part of the early access program)
You’re comfortable installing, troubleshooting and using software that is still in Beta.
You’ll get early access to migration tooling features that can make cloud migrations much easier and quicker. Your requirements will also have a big influence on how Atlassian will develop the functionality needed to solve any challenges encountered.
Throughout the program, you’ll also have access to support from Atlassian. We’ll be maintaining a dedicated content space with the information you’ll need throughout the program. The space will be monitored so if you have feedback or questions on the documentation, you can respond directly.
We'll be asking participants for feedback on the app migration capabilities and any opportunities for improvement. This feedback will help us understand customer needs and how we can make these capabilities even better before we roll them out widely to all customers.
You’ll be able to deliver feedback through the same Jira MOVE ticket that we send you when you sign up.
We’ll run two separate early access programs depending on the product you’re migrating.
The program for the Confluence Cloud Migration Assistant will start in March and the program for the Jira Cloud Migration Assistant will start in May.
If you have any questions, please comment below and we’ll get them answered. If you’d like to sign up for one of our early access programs, please complete this form: go.atlassian.com/appmigrationseap
