New feature: Querying issue custom fields just got simpler

We’ve added a new Issue custom fields table that will simplify how you query your Jira custom fields in Atlassian Analytics.

With this new table, all of your custom fields appear as regular columns that you can add to your visual mode query. This means you’ll no longer need to use the “Issue field” table to query these fields. You’ll also be able to add multiple custom fields to a single visual mode query, rather than create a separate query for each custom field.

How to get started

The table should automatically be available to Data Lake connections that include Jira data.

This table can only be used in visual mode queries and is not available for controls created without the control editor. When you open the schema browser, you’ll find it under “Jira family of products.”

If you don’t see the new table, you may need to add Jira data to your Data Lake connection. Reach out to your organization admin so they can edit the connection.
