We are pleased to announce Atlassian Analytics and Atlassian Data Lake are moving out of early access and into a new open beta phase of release! With this milestone, Atlassian Analytics is now available for Cloud Enterprise customers of Jira Software and Jira Service Management, with Jira, Opsgenie, and Insight (Assets) product data available in the Atlassian Data Lake. Check out our full announcement.
Dashboards and data sources in Atlassian Analytics are always private by default. This is to ensure you have full control of who has access to your organization’s product data.
However, if you want anyone with access to your Atlassian Analytics instance to be able to view a dashboard or query a data source, you can now change the restrictions in their access settings! This change will make permissions easier to manage, especially if your organization prefers a more open model.
Atlassian Analytics dashboards now support descriptions! You can add a description to your dashboard from the settings menu. Descriptions will appear at the top of the dashboard underneath your dashboard title and can be used to give users more information about what they are viewing.
If you utilize asset and configuration management within Jira Service Management, you can now include data for specific schemas from Insight (soon to be called Assets) when you create an Atlassian Data Lake connection.
As a heads-up, we're removing custom dashboard themes from Atlassian Analytics. Within the next week, your dashboards will revert to the default light theme so we can roll out a standardized Atlassian experience for Analytics dashboards.
