HI,
we are using Atlassian cloud service (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucked and Hipchat), and we have our users created and managed in these tools. What we would like to do is to allow other applications (i.e. Jenkins, Nexus) to authenticate using our user base an permissions/groups.
Is there any resource to do that? We found Crowd in your documentation and plugins for the apps we want to use, but so far we do not see how to integrate Crowd with Atlassian cloud, and seems we need to install our own server, which defeats the reasons why we use Atlasisan cloud and not our own server in the first place (see also https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CLOUD-7967).
If not, is there any API/documentation regarding external authentication? We are also aware of the integration with google apps, but this is not what we need at the moment.
Thank you in advance and best regards,
Marcos Moreno.
As you are on Cloud, you can't. Cloud only supports internal and google accounts (for now).
Thanks for your answer. Is that in the roadmap? If yes, does Atlasian have some timeline for this? If not... well, i just "+1" the CLOUD-7967 issue.
