organisation I want to delete it or removed or restore to default

I want the organisation feature turned off I cant manage security anymore for Jira Software I haven't verified my domain yet and dont need to now... how can I undo this any helpers? I read it cant be turned off so the solutions seems to verify domain, then remove it, then will I have access to my security settings again?

Hi Jarman,

That's correct - there's currently no Delete option for organizations. As you may have seen in the documentation, what you said is correct. You can remove (verified) domains.

If you're concerned about cost, you can actually use the organization for free - from our FAQ:

Do I need to pay for Access to create an organization and do a domain claim?
No. Any site administrator can create an organization and verify their domain free of charge. This gives you a single place to view all of your managed users. You will need to subscribe to Access to enforce security policies across these users.

If you're looking to just manage permission schemes in Jira Software, you can do that on a project-by-project basis in Jira. The Security settings you see in Site Administration are about ensuring good passwords.

Cheers,
Daniel
