i want to integrate atlassian access and AWS microsoft AD for SSO purpose.
But the only few user directories are supported with atlassian access. I do not find how to integrate AWS managed microsoft AD and want to perform SSO with it.
Hey @raman sharma ,
If I understand you correctly, you're using AWS's managed Active Directory service, which effectively allows you to run an on-premises AD environment in AWS infrastructure.
In this case, it's effectively equivalent to running Active Directory on local hardware. Active Directory doesn't support the authentication and directory sync protocols that most SaaS offerings (including Atlassian's) use.
AWS recommends using Azure AD Connect to sync users from AWS managed AD to Azure AD, and then configuring SSO for Azure AD using that. Here are the relevant docs:

Dave
Hi @raman sharma,
Welcome to the Community!
AWS is Amazon's product. If you are looking for Microsoft, you want Azure AD.
This is the documentation Microsoft provides for setting up the integration between Azure AD and the Atlassian Cloud products:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/saas-apps/atlassian-cloud-tutorial
I hope that helps get you started!
