Hey Timothy,

Verifying your domain has some benefits in Atlassian Access and in Jira:

1. You can set specific password policies for users in your domain
2. You can change the user's display name and job title
3. You can change the email address for managed users
4. Temporary exclusion from 2-factor authentication is possible, as well as forcing password resets
5. In Jira Service Desk, you can change the outgoing email address to show from your domain
