admin login in case of identity provider failure

Hi Atlassian Community

I am using Atlassian Access with Azure AD SSO and enforcing SSO through Authentication policy.

it works fine, but what will happen if link to identity provider fails. Will I loos access to Atlassian if I use a single Authentication policy enforcing SSO?

Hello @artak.amiraghyan ,

Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

Yeah, in this case, if all your users including you or all the admins are in the Enforced SSO policy and something fails they yeah you would lose access and you will need to contact Atlassian support in order to help you.

That's why we recommend to always leave an admin user out of the Enforced SSO policy in order to be able to access in case something fails.

Regards,

Thanks!
