A co-worker is unable to login to the new Atlassian Cloud GUI. None of my other co-workers (about ten of us) have any problem. He's not a new employee. He browses to "our usual" URL (https://COMPANY.atlassian.net/wiki/, where COMPANY is the name of our instance). He enters his login & return. After a wait, he enters his password and return. After an even longer wait, the page returns with "ERROR The request could not be satisfied ... CloudFront attempted to establish a connection with the origin, but either the attempt failed or the origin closed the connection".
Feels like a time out ... The same thing happens if he tries to login to a browser on my laptop, so it doesn't seem like something specific to his environment. Nothing has changed in his user account.
Suggestions / help appreciated.
Hi Bridget - It sounds like this incident, which Atlassian are currently investigating: https://atlassian.statuspage.io/incidents/01r8249rwb6r
https://atlassian.statuspage.io/ shows current status of Atlassian services, including Atlassian Cloud JIRA, Confluence, etc. so is a good place to check when issues like this occur.
Hello, WE are still receiving this issue.
JIRA is still working from a browser that was previously logged in but not from a fresh sign in on a new browser.

Hi All ,
With the new feature enabled from Atlassian, User id will no more accepted for login. you need to use your email Id associated with JIRA to get login in to system.
Hope it will work for you!!
Thanks,
Anu

That's great news.
The latest update from Atlassian on this (posted mins ago) says that problems are still ongoing.
https://atlassian.statuspage.io/ still reports lots of partial outages, so I would guess others might still be having problems.

I'm not able to get a email generated to reset my email and those that are able to, can't do it without getthing the error. Hopefully Atlassian investigates further, because a lot of people at our company are impacted.

Same here this is a companywide issue for us right now. Some users able to access but many aren't able to. I've tried resetting their passwords and this didn't work either.

This is affecting our entire company. My session was alive and I had changed the password after that Hipchat security breach but most of our folks at Engineering are unable to access and there's nothing in the status page that really points to that error.
