Unable to create Atlassian Admins and Jira admins since adding jira helpdesk to our plan, Why?

We recently added the 15 Jira Helpdesk licenses to our plan and for some reason this has affected our ability to create Atlassian admins and Jira Admins. Before adding the jira helpdesk we were able to add as many people to admin Atlassian, Confluence and Jira. Now we can only 15. It seems like the Jira Helpdesk licenses have created an umbrella that Atlassian admins and Jira admin fall under and we can't go over 15 on anything. Please help.

Hello Gideon,

Thank you for reaching out to Atlassian Community!

When we add a new product to our site, by default all new users will receive a license for this product or administrators automatically receive a license as well when adding the group site-admins or administrators, for example.

To fix this, it's necessary to remove the admin's groups from the product access.

Click on Screen Shot 2020-03-09 at 17.10.09.png > Administration or Screen Shot 2020-03-09 at 17.19.50.png> User management.

Then click on Products access and remove the groups and let only jira-servicedesk-users.

Please, give it a try and let us know how it goes.

Regards,
Angélica
