Temporarily disabling 2FA when a user has changed their mobile

Hi All,

Wondering if someone can help.

I am the Admin for our Atlassian account. Recently one of our users has changed their mobile phone which had the Authenticator App on.

We need to temporarily disable his 2FA so he can link his new phone to his atlassian account.

I cannot find a way to do this since now everything is down as a policy.

Please can someone help?

Hi @Mel Brooker ,

Try checking the "You can temporarily exclude users from two-step verification" section of the page here: https://support.atlassian.com/security-and-access-policies/docs/enforce-two-step-verification/
